Dark Winter

I remember what happened
after I lost 
my love,
my life of dark winter
without passion or depth
fizzled out
drifting me in black mood.

I feel a mood today.
It is a healthy, happier
sense of life.

The benefit of being
a woman
is the simple fact of
fearless freedom of mood.

These mood swings?
I'm a paranoid creature.

Her most
irrational mood
has the fire of genius.

My mind barren in
blue mood.
My eyes daze over
with shock swimming
in my brain.
