Standoffish Type

I am afraid that
the standoffish type
is the only kind I love.

My soul, my mind, my heart.
The bleeding parts
cauterized,
and I stopped being afraid.
It is freedom.

We couldn't undo the past,
it was true.
You're just afraid
you did not know how to forget
that place
in your life.

This is what I wanted
but somehow,
I'm afraid I'm paralyzed by fear
that I let myself believe
love has won.

I'm afraid of her.
Here is a dangerous creature
whose hunger of love
is strong.

The word love
is the idea of fate and magic
and yet,
this miraculous blind optimism
to be loved
by one human
I am afraid of.

Living is so uncertain
and hard
but I feel there is 
so much more
purpose
instead of a future so black.
I want
to never be afraid.

You're pining for
pure love,
but
you seem afraid of it.

I'm afraid the
faded world
is silent proof the future
may depend on the present.

You're alone.
It's just you and I think
you're afraid
you don't feel enough love.
