Human Obligation

A kind life
is generosity, and belief
in the human obligation
to try
a little more.

My split morality.
I guess I feel love
and violence
in me.

Blunt sincerity
is a confession to reconcile
sympathy
and sensibility.

the quiet was
comforting, and at last
the feeling - this is myself.

I feel a mood today.
It is a healthy, happier
sense of life.

You owe it to yourself
to really be alive.

Life beating around us
is a remarkable gravity
perfumed in
sublime sweetness.

Love and hate
are honest feelings
that life
demands in her own voice
and power.

Have an incredible
lust for life: a heart
beating a new beginning.
Open your eyes,
the world is out there.

I am reckless
in my life.
The rush of each thrill
burns brightly,
searing me in a desire
for distraction
as a desperate attempt
to feel something.
