Tide of Acceptance

I told myself,
I must find myself in love
I knew it would happen - 
a cataclysmic tide of acceptance.

I may never be happy,
but I am content.

For the first time,
my identity is forming - I feel
this beginning should
unparalyze my words.
I need not be alone.
I am here.

Oblivious of time
immersed in the library,
I have known
paradise.

I am
the most happy
because I had
faith in myself.

I can only,
day to day, fight to be
more confident
and good for myself,
no matter what other people say.

Are bars the prescription
for laughter and tears?
Or glory and disgust?

Life is loneliness with
no purpose,
pour your soul
into joy, fulfillment and
companionship.

I'm convinced
my secret to life
like a dream
is sweet solitude.

Shut up among books,
my soul
drank eagerly.
