Delight in Life

Posted on March 12, 2022August 2, 2022 by Erin B.
Appreciate the kind of people
who lose ourselves
in life.
The actual experience of the world
We valuably know, is everywhere
because we continuously
delight in life.

Darkness of the Night

Posted on February 20, 2022August 2, 2022 by Erin B.
My life force
is a dreary November night.
The rain against the panes
my candle nearly burnt out,
the glimmer
infusing life into me.
People did not understand
I was borne into the darkness of the night.

Nature

Posted on January 29, 2022August 2, 2022 by Erin B.
Nature did remove my grief,
and tranquilized my mind.
The woods and clouds bade me peace.
I resolve to remember the effect,
the sublime ecstasy to the soul, the light and joy of nature.

I rose lazily
on a crisp February morning,
the snow
shimmering brightly
in wintry white.
