Insatiable Curiosity

This insatiable curiosity
I have
is a rambling one.

The sound of laughter
is beyond
words, reminding us
we are human.

If I had
the chance to live
would I take it?
Would I do more? Or nothing?

A kind life
is generosity, and belief
in the human obligation
to try
a little more.

You owe it to yourself
to really be alive.

Life beating around us
is a remarkable gravity
perfumed in
sublime sweetness.

Extend compassion
and take care of yourself.
Find a way to smile.

Have an incredible
lust for life: a heart
beating a new beginning.
Open your eyes,
the world is out there.

For a few moments
she was left alone, these moments
of solitude,
free from eyes upon her,
felt good.

Live on kindness
and reflect
it back.
