Delicately Romantic

A poem prepared
in champagne and lace,
so delicately romantic.
Passion committed
to words
was something she needed.

To write we must
feel the words;
we must speak a language
of intimate feel.

I can go to my grave
feeling that I have loved you,
devotedly.

Please remember to just
be happy, and stay in the moment.

This is your chance,
this is your life.
At this moment, speeding
through time.

The rain kissed her all over
to stop the tears
like a lover.

The capacity to love with
body and soul
is within one's control.
Deliberate love should take hold
of desire
and want with all that
raging heart.

Pen and paper
are my greatest happiness;
time, I tend to forget.

Her soul stood apart,
so very tender and beautiful.
She loved extraordinarily as if living
was but a shadow to
this feeling.

A poet in doses - 
helps with all those feelings
and emotions
that wash over you
when there is no antidote
for the afflictions
of the soul.
